Shang-Chi runtime revealed by US movie house chain

The Shang-Chi runtime has been revealed, and Marvel's adjacent origins story tops the two-hour mark.

Every bit discovered by The States cinema chain of mountains Cinemark's new itemisation for the movie, Shang-Khi has been given a PG-13 rating (authoritative for a Wonder moving picture) and will be 2 hours 12 minutes in length.

That puts it on par with X-Men: First Separate (not MCU, mind), longer than Doctor Unfamiliar by two minutes, and shorter than Master America: The Overwinter Soldier aside four proceedings. Shang-Ki will not quite be the longest MCU origins story, being beaten by Black Panther and The Tall Huk, which some have runtimes of 2 hours 15 transactions. Naturally, that's nothing compared to the 3 hours 2 proceedings of Avengers: Endgame.

Shang-Khi has a set to wad into its runtime. Not only are we loss to be introduced to the title submarine, played by Simu Liu, but also the character's father, the villainous leader of the Ten Rings, The Mandarin, depicted by Tony Leung. Different new cast members of the MCU admit Akwafina, Michelle Yeoh, and Fala Chen.

Then there's the matter of Doctor Strange's sidekick Wong, played by Benedict Wong, and Hulk baddie Odium both showing up to fight in some sort of tournament. There's also word that Jade Xu, who played a Widow in Black Widow, could come out. That's quite an the MCU crossover voter, especially as Abomination is expected to appear in the upcoming Disney Plus series She-Hulk.
